Samsung Galaxy M35 5G will be launched in India next month, the company confirmed on Thursday. Earlier this week, Amazon released a banner teasing the launch of this phone, leading to speculation that it would be launched during the Amazon Prime Day Sale 2024. However, the company has now confirmed that this smartphone will be unveiled in India on July 17. Along with confirming the launch date, the company also provided some specifications of the phone. Like the global variant, this model will also come with the Exynos 1380 processor.
In a press release, the South Korean tech giant stated that the smartphone will be launched on July 17. However, the price and sale date of the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G have not been disclosed yet. The company has revealed some specifications. Based on the shared information, it appears that there won’t be any significant upgrades aside from the chipset.
Samsung Galaxy M35 5G Specifications
The company has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G will be the first M-series smartphone with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It will also feature an Infinity-O (HID) sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. Like the global variant, the Indian model will be equipped with the 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset. The handset will also come with a vapor cooling chamber for heat dissipation.
For optics, the Galaxy M35 5G will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Details about the other sensors have not been provided. The global variant includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, the global variant offers a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Notably, the Samsung Galaxy M34 also had the same camera specifications.
The company has revealed several camera features. The Galaxy M35 will include a Nightography mode, allowing users to capture portraits and videos in low light. It will also feature an Astrolapse mode, enabling users to create time-lapse videos of the night sky.
